FDA-Approved Uses for Rybrevant SC
Indications are based on FDA approval. Your healthcare provider determines appropriate use based on your specific diagnosis, stage, biomarker status, and overall clinical picture.
- Same FDA-approved NSCLC indications as IV Rybrevant where subcutaneous administration is appropriate
How Does Rybrevant SC Work?
Amivantamab targets EGFR and MET simultaneously. Hyaluronidase-lpuj temporarily depolymerizes hyaluronan in subcutaneous tissue, enabling rapid absorption and dispersion of the bispecific antibody after subcutaneous injection — avoiding the need for IV infusion.
Dosage & Administration
Weight-based subcutaneous dosing equivalent to IV formulation. Administered as a subcutaneous injection; administration time is significantly shorter than the 3–5 hour IV infusion. The treating oncologist determines the schedule based on indication.
Dosing is individualized by the prescribing clinician. Never adjust your dose without consulting your healthcare provider. This information is educational only and does not replace the official prescribing information.

Frequently Asked Questions — Rybrevant SC
Rybrevant SC is the subcutaneous formulation of amivantamab co-formulated with hyaluronidase-lpuj. It contains the same active EGFR×MET bispecific antibody as IV Rybrevant but is injected subcutaneously rather than infused intravenously.
Subcutaneous administration is significantly faster than the 3–5 hour IV infusion, typically taking minutes rather than hours for injection.
Both contain amivantamab. The difference is the route and co-formulation: Rybrevant SC includes hyaluronidase-lpuj to enable subcutaneous delivery, while IV Rybrevant is administered as an IV infusion.
As a newer subcutaneous formulation, coverage requirements are evolving. Prior authorization with biomarker documentation is required. BiologicHealthPlus can complete benefits verification.
